Update on Solomon Kane distributor status
More and more areas of the world will be blessed with Solomon Kane goodness this or next year as IMDB has updated the status of release dates for the dark fantasy film Solomon Kane.
The two new entries are:
- Russia, which is due at the 24th December 2009 (Merry Christmas Solomon!)
- Netherlands, which is due at the 14th January 2010
I hope that the distributors make sure to advertise the movie on the genre festivals all over the world like the Fantasy Filmfest in Germany, which always was a good start for many independent fantasy movies in Europe.
Feeling pretty antsy not seeing any news at all about any US distributor interest yet for Kane. I know these things can take time, but really thought by now there would be some little tidbit of news… Looks like if the US gets it it will be 2010 before it’s released here. Patience is not one of my virtues when it comes to Kane, I can tell ya that!
Hahaha, yeah patience has become less of a virtue for me either since i have read the amazing reviews and saw the great setshots. I wanna see how the great Mr. Purefoy pulls of Solomon, he was such a fine character actor in every of his movies and i expect him to be just as good as Solomon Kane!
No doubt he will be incredible, as ever… and the movie as a whole sounds just fabulous. I’m hoping, one day soon, to open my emails and BAM! Loads of info will be there waiting for me… Release dates, trailers, pre-screenings and reviews. BEG!!
